Mrs. Ruth Ayobamidele was born 78years ago to the family of Late Alhaji Tiamiyu Ayinde Ogunlaja and Late Alhaja Abibat Ogunlaja of lperu Remo, Ogun state.
She started her educational career from Yaba Methodist School, Yaba Lagos and proceeded to Anglican Girls’ Grammar school, ljebu-ode.
She started her civil service career in the year 1966 and served in many ministries and departments like Federal Ministry of Education, Lagos (where she was employed) Federal Advance Teachers College Akoka, Lagos, National Archives Ibadan, Federal Court of Appeal Ibadan, Water Resources Ibadan, Federal Department of Forestry lbadan and finally at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, field Project Monitoring Unit, Moor Plantation lbadan, where she served more than a decade before her retirement in the year 2001.
During her career in the federal civil service, she attended many courses and training in Management and Accounting Management.
She was a woman of substance, very dynamic, loyal efficient and very dedicated at work. She was a great achiever in a terrain dominated by men. She was a wonderful career civil servant throughout her 35 years in service. She was also industrious and zealous in her own private endeavours and this really earned her progress in life.
She was a great philanthropist which earner her prosperity, very caring and generous to all kinds of people. Her generosity of heart, propelled her to gain good attention among families, friends and people around her and this also fetched her recognition and honour.
She was kind, always grateful always grateful and appreciative no matter how little things presented to her. She demonstrated leadership qualities both at work and her private life.
Certainly her career in the civil service made her to earn a great honour and recognition among her boss, colleagues and other subordinates officers anywhere she had served.
She was happily married to Mr.Lawrence Abayomi Kupoluyi for over 55 years and were blessed with beautiful and wonderful children and grandchildren. She was obedient, faithful and submissive to her husband whom she loved very dearly and was a darling partner in progress to her husband.
She was a devoted child of God, a born-again Christian, and a member of the YWCA and women's fellowship of Methodist Cathedral Church, Agbeni, Ibadan.
All will surely miss her, and we pray that your gentle soul rests in the bosom of your creator. Till we meet to part no more.
